Terms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and RepEat LLC ("RepEat," "we," "us") for the RepEat app and repeatcoach.com (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1. Who can use RepEat
- You must be at least 13 years old.
- If you're under 18 (or the age of majority where you live), you need a parent's or guardian's permission, and they agree to these terms for you.
- You're responsible for your account and for keeping your password secure.
2. Not medical advice
- RepEat is a fitness and nutrition tracking tool.
- Calorie and macro targets, timelines, workout suggestions, AI recipes and other guidance are estimates for general information only. They are not medical, nutritional or professional advice, diagnosis or treatment.
- Talk to a doctor before starting a diet or exercise program, especially if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a medical condition, have a history of disordered eating, or take medication (including prescription weight-loss medication).
- Stop exercising and seek help if you feel pain, dizziness or shortness of breath.
- Call emergency services in an emergency.
3. AI features
- Some features use artificial intelligence to read labels, estimate meals, suggest recipes and exercises, and answer questions.
- AI output can be wrong or incomplete. Review results before relying on them.
- Food allergies: we tell the AI to avoid the allergies and intolerances you list, but it can make mistakes. Always check ingredient labels and verify recipes yourself. You're responsible for what you eat.
- Nutrition data from labels, databases or restaurants may contain errors.
4. Subscriptions and payments
- RepEat's plan and features require a paid subscription. Current prices are shown in the app before you buy (at launch, $4.99/month or $39.99/year in the U.S.; prices may vary by country and may change).
- Subscriptions are billed through your Apple App Store or Google Play account and renew automatically until you cancel.
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Cancel anytime in your Apple ID or Google Play subscription settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the paid period.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. Deleting the app or your account doesn't cancel a subscription.
- If we change prices, we'll tell you in advance as required by Apple or Google, and you can cancel before the new price applies.
5. Your content
- You own the information, photos and content you add ("Your Content").
- You give us a limited license to store, process and display Your Content to operate and improve the Service for you, including sending it to service providers described in our Privacy Policy (for example, to process AI requests).
- Your display name and profile photo are visible to friends you connect with, and they're checked by automated moderation.
6. Acceptable use
Don't:
- break the law or violate others' rights;
- upload harmful, hateful, sexual or harassing content, or content you don't have rights to;
- try to access other people's accounts or data;
- reverse engineer, scrape, overload or disrupt the Service, or get around usage limits (including daily AI limits);
- resell the Service or use it to build a competing product.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
7. Our content and license
- The Service, including its software, design, text, logos and the "RepEat" name, belongs to us and our licensors.
- We give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on your devices for your own non-commercial use, subject to these terms and the app store's terms.
8. Changes and availability
- We may add, change or remove features, and we may change these terms.
- If we make material changes to the terms, we'll notify you in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new terms.
- We work to keep RepEat running, but we don't guarantee it will always be available or error-free.
9. Ending your account
- You can delete your account at any time in the app (Me → Settings → Delete account).
- We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we stop offering the Service. If we discontinue the Service entirely, we'll give reasonable notice.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise any particular fitness, weight or health result.
11. Limitation of liability
- To the fullest extent allowed by law, RepEat won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Service.
- Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or $50.
- Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
12. Indemnity
You agree to cover our reasonable costs if a claim arises from your misuse of the Service or your violation of these terms.
13. Governing law and disputes
- These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
- Before filing a claim, please contact us at support@repeatcoach.com so we can try to resolve it informally.
- Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Indiana, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
14. Apple-specific terms
If you downloaded RepEat from the Apple App Store:
- These terms are between you and RepEat, not Apple.
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support, and isn't responsible for claims about the app.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them.
